Already by the end of 1980’s experimentally and ahead of its time, Pastiglie Leone created a line of products sugar-free without synthetic sweeteners such as aspartame and acesulfame. The Leonsnella range is produced only with natural sweeteners isomalt, maltitol and stevia which reduce the calorie count. Furthermore, with the exception of barley candy the whole range is gluten-free.

The Leonsnella line can display the “Happy Tooth” symbol, having successfully passed all the telemetric tests to prove that the ingredients used in these sweets are tooth-friendly and do not contribute in causing dental decay. The “Happy Tooth” symbol established by the non profit international association “Toothfriendly” is made up by an executive board of dental professionals.
